Kraig Schroth

Kraig Schroth is an alum of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and the Universitetet i Tromsø, located in Tromsø, Norway.  Kraig studied Anthropology and Scandinavian Studies and produced the award winning documentary Pierced Through The Heart - Alternative Body Modification Rituals of the 21st Century.

Kraig is the House and General Manager of Café Rœkkr, and is also responsible for some of the recipes and techniques in use at Café Rœkkr in both restaurant and catering operations.

In his free time, Kraig likes to hang out, have a good time, and most recently was seen performing as a member of the band Definitive Ambivalence in Café Rœkkr's Hovedscenen.

Saffrona Carlson

Saffrona Carlson is an alum of Augsberg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she studied Sociology and Norwegian.  Saffrona is also a key player in the Rock Against Injustice campaign and coordinates regular benefit concerts for the Metro Area's homeless.  In her spare time, Saffrona also teaches sculpture and painting to limbless children.

Saffrona's amazing attention to detail and creative mind is behind many of the amazing recipes that are in use at Café Rœkkr's restaurant and catering operations.

Saffrona is also the lead Kitchen Manager at Café Rœkkr and the star in the new hit musical Here's To Being The Butt of Yet Another Joke opening in May at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.

Maren Mattson

Maren Mattson is an alum of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, where she perused a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications.  Maren is also active in theatre and currently is an associate editor of The Rake and contributing writer for The New Yorker.

Maren's keen intellect has contributed much to the planning and creation of Café Rœkkr.  Through the years, she has acted as a sounding board for all of the creative ideas, and most recently, headed the design team for Rœkkr's Hovedscenen where she regularly hosts "Goth Nights" and theme parties for interested people in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Pamela Daigle

Pamela Daigle is an alum of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she studied Theatre Arts and Xenobiology, and the Aveda Institute for Massage Therapy.  Pamela currently splits her time between Café Rœkkr where she works as High Magistrate and Bar Manager, and St. Paul Chiropractic where she uses her mad skillz as a massage therapist for the unwilling and vulnerable.

Pam's artistic qualities have influenced the creation of Café Rœkkr in both design and menu planning.  Pam is also the lead singer of the band Definitive Ambivalence where she argues with Kraig about whether or not he can bring his Keytar to the next gig
